About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience to join a leading global law firm’s Disputes practice in Sydney. The role involves handling complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations and tax disputes for major domestic and international clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex commercial litigation and strategic disputes from inception to resolution.
• Conduct regulatory investigations and handle enforcement matters.
• Lead tax dispute matters, including drafting pleadings and submissions.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Collaborate with interstate and international teams on cross‑border matters.

Required profile

• 2–4 years post‑admission experience in commercial litigation, either in a leading private practice or in‑house.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to client service.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing competing priorities.
• Commitment to building a career within a high‑performing disputes team.
