Commercial Estimator – Cost Controller (Hybrid, Perth)

About the role

Wood is seeking a Commercial Estimator / Cost Controller to join its Consulting business unit in Perth. Working on a hybrid basis, you will support the commercial and proposals teams by delivering detailed cost breakdowns for a wide range of consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare full cost estimates for service offerings across the Consulting division.
• Maximise commercial performance while managing pre‑ and post‑contract project risks.
• Ensure compliance with commercial and contracting policies.
• Collaborate with proposal teams to develop innovative pricing structures.
• Contribute to the growth strategy by providing accurate cost insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cost estimating or cost control for services.
• Ability to work across diverse sectors and adapt to varied pricing models.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Desire to develop skills within a multi‑sector consulting environment.
