Commercial Analyst – West Perth

About the role

The Commercial Analyst supports strategic decision‑making for Qube Bulk by providing financial analysis, pricing strategy and business development support. Working closely with regional teams, Business Development and senior leadership, the role ensures commercial success across tenders, quotes and strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for pricing tenders and quotes, including scenario analysis.
• Review, validate and mentor on pricing models submitted by Business Development and Commercial teams.
• Prepare and issue pricing quotes, contribute to commercial sections of tender submissions and coordinate bid timelines.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails for pricing decisions and approvals.
• Support high‑value CAPEX documentation and post‑tender activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial modelling and commercial analysis, preferably in mining, transport or logistics.
• Strong understanding of tendering processes and pricing strategies.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with cross‑functional and executive stakeholders.
• Willingness to pass pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening and commit to a safe workplace.
