Clinician - Intensive Mobile Youth Outreach Service

About the role

The Intensive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (IMYOS) is a new multidisciplinary team providing outreach mental health assessments and clinical interventions for young people aged 12 to 25, working with the young person and their support system. The IMYOS Clinician works in partnership with consumers, carers, families and other service providers to deliver high-quality outreach mental health care, based in Shepparton or Seymour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments, formulation, case coordination and individualised recovery planning.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Provide primary and secondary consultations to key stakeholder agencies.
• Develop and implement enhancements to the model of care for children, youth and families, keeping practice aligned with contemporary, evidence-based mental health models.
• Support students and more junior members of the program.

Required profile

• Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Social Worker Grade 3, Occupational Therapist Grade 3 or Psychologist Grade 2.
