Clinical Services Manager - Aged Care

About the role

A recruitment agency is recruiting, on behalf of a large residential aged care home in the Geelong area, an experienced Clinical Services Manager to lead its clinical and care teams. The home is established and has plans to expand. Working closely with the General Manager, the manager provides clinical and operational leadership, drives quality improvement and ensures safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership across nursing and care teams.
• Partner with the General Manager on the overall management of the home.
• Oversee clinical governance, quality improvement and accreditation outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and develop clinical leaders and nursing staff.
• Drive resident care outcomes, clinical performance and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a clinical leadership role within aged care or a similar healthcare environment.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing clinical teams.
• Excellent communication, decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to person-centred care.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC and clinical governance.
• People management and team development.

The advertised salary is AU$157,000 - AU$160,000 per annum plus superannuation, and the position is permanent.
