Clinical Research Associate (CRA) – Perth

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Research Associate to support multiple clinical studies across Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. The CRA will ensure that each trial is conducted in line with the protocol, SOPs, ICH‑GCP and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent monitoring visits (site evaluation, initiation, interim, motivational and close‑out) and co‑monitoring visits as needed.
• Prepare and submit detailed monitoring visit reports following SOPs.
• Collect, organise and file essential clinical documents in compliance with SOPs.
• Communicate project‑specific information between trial sites and internal teams, documenting all interactions.
• Escalate and triage issues promptly to ensure timely resolution.
• Manage study start‑up activities, clinical supplies, enrolment, data collection and study close‑out.
• Train site personnel on the protocol, related manuals, ICH‑GCP standards and any study‑specific portals or vendor systems.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, nursing, medical or pharmacy field.
• 5–7 years of CRA experience within a CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to work within study‑specific billing and budget constraints.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP, applicable regulations and clinical study conduct standards.
