Clinical Pharmacist (Grade 1, 2 or 3)

About the role

A suitably qualified Clinical Pharmacist is sought to join the Pharmacy team at Portland District Health. The role is ongoing full time (80 hours per fortnight plus monthly allowance), available from 1 February 2027, and covers direct pharmaceutical services to patients and staff, including inpatient and outpatient dispensing, supervision of technical staff, ward-based clinical services, medicines information and education for clinical staff.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
• Minimum Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree
• Grade 1: recent hospital pharmacy experience (essential)
• Grade 2: relevant or working-towards pharmacy or health-related postgraduate qualification; recent hospital pharmacy experience desirable
• Grade 3: pharmacy or health-related or management postgraduate qualification; minimum 5 years of hospital and clinical pharmacy experience, with exceptions for those showing exceptional suitability elsewhere
• 3 years of specialised practice
• Membership of relevant pharmacy professional groups
