Clinical Nurse Manager - Aged Care

About the role

Aegis is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager or Registered Nurse with proven leadership capability and experience in the same or similar role, who is passionate about providing exceptional care to residents. The position is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role within the Hilton Park facility, which accommodates 136 residents across five wings, including high and low care and specialist dementia care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across the facility and manage all clinical functions to ensure safe, effective, high-quality care.
• Ensure all care documentation is completed and that appropriate strategies are implemented.
• Support residents and their families by addressing queries, comments, suggestions and concerns.
• Manage, support, coach, monitor and mentor the clinical care team in delivering quality care.
• Contribute to the achievement of goals and objectives with a continuous improvement focus.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience as a clinician in aged care.
• Leadership experience in aged care, able to influence others to deliver high-quality care and customer service.
• High level of clinical knowledge and detailed knowledge of AN-ACC assessments and documentation.
• Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
