Cleaner and Laundry Assistant

About the role

Provide quality cleaning and laundry services that support residents’ comfort, dignity and wellbeing. Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming home environment for aged‑care residents. Ensure daily cleaning, linen and clothing services meet high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, common areas and bathrooms.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute linen and clothing.
• Follow infection‑control and safety procedures at all times.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Support a tidy and respectful environment for residents and staff.

Required profile

• Strong focus on cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow safe work and infection‑control practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and positive approach to duties.
