Classroom Teacher – Intervention (K-6)

About the role

Holy Family Primary School is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher to work in the Intervention space with students from Kindergarten to Year 6. You will deliver targeted literacy support using the MiniLit and MacqLit programs, helping students improve reading skills and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver small‑group, evidence‑based literacy instruction.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student outcomes and adjust instruction as needed.

Required profile

• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Qualified with a Bachelor or Master of Teaching.
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration.
• Registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute.

Required skills

• Experience delivering MiniLit and MacqLit literacy programs.
