About the role
TAFE Queensland is seeking a casual Civil Engineering Lecturer to join the South Bank campus until December. You will share your industry expertise with students through classroom, online, and workplace‑based delivery, helping to build the skilled workforce needed for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality civil engineering courses using a variety of teaching methods.
- Develop innovative learning activities that link theory to real‑world industry practice.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Higher Education, to ensure compliance with TEQSA standards.
Required profile
- Recent, relevant industry experience and appropriate industry qualifications.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to innovative teaching and learning environments.
- Commitment to outstanding client (student) service and adherence to quality standards.
- Proven record of achievement as a civil engineering practitioner.
