Chef/Cook – The Mill Hotel Bistro

About the role

The Mill Hotel Bistro is seeking enthusiastic chefs and cooks to join its dynamic kitchen team. Operating seven days a week from 11:30 am to 9 pm, the bistro serves guests across the hotel’s bar, gaming, TAB, and accommodation facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the executive chef and fellow team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with stock control, inventory, and kitchen equipment upkeep.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through consistent food quality and presentation.

Required profile

• Well‑groomed and professional appearance.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to high standards.
• Trade‑qualified or equivalent culinary experience.
• Residency in New South Wales (sponsorship available for the right candidate).
