Chef – Corporate Dining, North Sydney

About the role

A new Eurest site is being launched in North Sydney and is looking for a passionate, innovative Chef to lead a small kitchen team. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, on corporate days and hours. The pay is $85,000 annually plus 12% superannuation.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency and innovation
• Assist with menu planning featuring local, seasonal and plant-forward ingredients
• Mentor and motivate kitchen staff
• Work with digital systems for ordering and rostering

Required profile

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with at least 3 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen
• 3+ years' experience in a professional kitchen, preferably corporate or fine dining
• Skilled in buffet-style and à la carte service, with strong time management and allergen awareness
• Knowledge of HACCP and safe food handling practices
• Professional communication skills and a client-focused attitude
