CCTV Technician – Installation & Maintenance

About the role

Downer is looking for a skilled CCTV Technician to join its Walkley Heights team. You will support the maintenance, installation and commissioning of CCTV and thermal imaging assets across South Australia's road network, working on a network of over 1,000 cameras.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, upgrades, new installations and asset replacements for CCTV and thermal imaging systems.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to keep transport infrastructure operating safely.
• Commission and test equipment to ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

Required profile

• CCTV/Security Agent qualification with Cabler Registration.
• Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.

Required skills

• Experience installing, maintaining or commissioning CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of thermal imaging systems (highly regarded).
• ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) or electronic communications experience.
• SA Electrical Licence (preferred).
