Category Insights Consultant – FMCG

About the role

Quantium is looking for a Category Insights Consultant to join its wiqConsumer team in Australia. In this role you will help FMCG clients turn large retail data sets into actionable insights on promotions, assortment, marketing and strategic trends.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of FMCG clients and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Deliver end‑to‑end analytical projects, from data extraction to insight generation.
• Coordinate with Quantium’s product and consulting experts to bring the best solutions to clients.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the wiqConsumer practice.

Required profile

• Experience in data‑driven insight generation within a FMCG or retail environment.
• Ability to work with large customer and shopper data sets to solve commercial problems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a willingness to engage senior client leaders.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging analytics technologies.
