Casual Security Officer - Monash Clayton

About the role

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is looking for Casual Security Officers to join its team at Monash University in Clayton. The role involves keeping the campus safe and helping people move around it.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct foot patrols to keep people safe and buildings secure
• Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required
• Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required
• Give clear directions and assistance to students, staff and visitors so they can navigate the campus efficiently
• Write reports on incidents or unusual activity, documenting all information
• Communicate calmly, clearly and effectively with staff, students and visitors

Required profile

• Full Australian working rights
• Control Room Endorsement
• Valid Victorian security licence
• Valid Victorian driver's licence with no restrictions
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to walk up to 15-20 km a day
