Casual Relief Teacher – Junior Campus Positions

About the role

Townsville Grammar School is seeking enthusiastic Relief Teachers to join its casual teaching pool for the Annandale and North Shore Junior campuses. You will step into classrooms on an as‑needed basis, delivering instruction and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom supervision and instruction following prepared lesson plans.
• Maintain order, inclusivity, and a supportive atmosphere for students.
• Ensure continuity of learning when the regular teacher is absent.
• Adapt to a variety of year levels and subject areas as required.

Required profile

• Current registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to professional standards and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively and respond flexibly to school needs.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
