About the role
The Shire of Merredin is looking for experienced and enthusiastic people to join its team as Lifeguards at the Merredin District Olympic Pool. Successful applicants supervise patrons and provide a safe environment at the pool facility. The position is casual, commencing in October or November 2026, with ordinary hours between 5.00am and 10.00pm, Monday to Sunday.
Required profile
- First Aid certificate: HLTAID009, 010 and 011 (Provide First Aid)
- Pool Lifeguard certificate: SISSS00133
- Western Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC)

- Casual pay of $19.20 to $36.69 per hour depending on age and qualifications
