Casual Pharmacy & Pharmacology Tutor – Expression of Interest

About the role

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmacology is inviting applications for casual academic tutors to support teaching within the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) programme and related postgraduate courses. Positions are available across multiple campuses in Burnie, Hobart, Launceston and Sydney, offering flexible engagement that matches your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tutorials, workshops and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Provide student support, marking assessments and invigilating examinations.
• Assist in developing and updating teaching materials and resources.
• Collaborate with academic staff to ensure consistent delivery of curriculum content.

Required profile

• A four‑year or equivalent tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or comparable professional experience.
• Demonstrated clinical or professional experience relevant to pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Understanding of clinical guidelines and regulations.
• High‑level communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain one.
