About the role

Dyvest Health Care is seeking a friendly and professional Casual Receptionist to join one of its medical centres in Hornsby. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience while supporting the clinical team with essential administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Schedule and manage appointments using practice software.
Create and maintain accurate patient records.
Assist doctors with routine administrative duties.
Perform general reception duties to keep the practice running efficiently.
Follow all practice policies and procedures.

Required profile

Patient‑focused with a commitment to high‑quality service.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Professional, confident, and positive representation of the practice.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient and practice information.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise and multitask.
Full Australian work rights.

Required skills

Experience using Best Practice software.
