Casual Guest Service Agent

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Casual Guest Service Agent to join our front‑office team at Mercure Perth on Hay. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver service excellence from check‑in to check‑out, acting as the first point of contact for guests and visitors.
• Perform a variety of front‑office tasks including reservations, guest account maintenance, and selling hotel facilities.
• Answer telephone calls professionally and in line with brand standards.
• Reconcile cashier floats at the end of each shift.
• Promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty programme to non‑members and register new members.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and resolve issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Willingness to work a 7‑day roster including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with the Opera property management system (or similar PMS).
