Casual Front Office Reception & Guest Services Agent

About the role

Quest Apartment Hotels in Cheltenham is looking for a motivated, customer‑focused Front Office Reception & Guest Services Agent on a casual basis. You will join a small, dynamic team where teamwork, initiative and reliability are essential to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and check‑in guests promptly and professionally.
• Respond to guest enquiries, provide local information and support.
• Maintain accurate guest records and process financial transactions, including cash handling.
• Assist the Sales team with accommodation enquiries and convert leads.
• Support site inspections, catering and conferencing requirements.
• Coordinate couriers, mail and manage office supplies.
• Keep the reception area clean, organised and presentable.
• Provide operational support to team members as needed.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of customer service or hospitality experience, front‑office preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional approach.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team.
• Availability for rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Cash handling and payment processing.
