Casual Freezer Storeperson – Afternoon Shift

About the role

Bidfood is seeking a reliable and energetic individual to join its Port Melbourne warehouse as a Casual Freezer Storeperson on the afternoon shift, working Sunday to Thursday. You will play a key part in keeping the warehouse running smoothly, handling orders, stock and trucks in a fast‑paced, temperature‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and assemble customer orders accurately.
• Load trucks efficiently and safely.
• Receive, put away and rotate stock, maintaining tidy bin locations.
• Perform duties in freezer areas down to –25°C.
• Support warehouse housekeeping and safety protocols.
• Work overtime when required to meet demand.

Required profile

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Punctual, reliable and a strong team player.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is advantageous.
• Warehouse experience and a forklift licence are a plus, with a licence being essential for the role.

Required skills

• Forklift licence with reach experience (essential).
• Good communication and time‑management abilities.
• Capability to pass a pre‑employment medical if required.
