Casual Disability Support Worker

About the role

Fidens Support Services is looking for casual Disability Support Workers in Adelaide to support participants in a person-centred way, championing independence, dignity and respect. The role covers daily care, meals, community outings and companionship, within a supportive and inclusive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to meet participants' physical needs
• Empower participants to achieve independence and celebrate each milestone
• Craft meals tailored to participants' preferences and cultural backgrounds
• Accompany participants on community outings to foster engagement and social inclusion
• Offer companionship and listen to participants' concerns and stories
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment that respects participants' choices and rights

Required profile

• Drivers licence
• Motor vehicle registration and insurance
• NDIS worker screening check
• National police clearance
• CPR certificate
• First aid certificate
