Casual Cleaner – Aged Care Facility

About the role

Mercy Health Australia is seeking casual cleaners to join its team at Mercy Place Colac, helping create safe, welcoming spaces where patients, families and staff feel valued. The role keeps facilities clean and hygienic, supporting the comfort and well-being of residents and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks in residents' rooms, common areas and administrative spaces
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ensure a safe and sanitary environment
• Adhere to infection control protocols

Required profile

• Reliable, resilient and genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in the community
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
• Ability to work independently and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Sense of compassion and empathy towards elderly residents
• Experience in an aged care or health environment is desirable but not essential
• Must provide evidence of, or be in the process of obtaining, a Police Record Check
