Casual Academic - School of Dentistry

About the role

The University of Queensland School of Dentistry is seeking expressions of interest from casual academics to support the teaching and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Positions are based at the Herston and St Lucia campuses, and successful appointees may be required to attend on campus.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver guest lectures, workshops, seminars and tutorials.
• Mark assessment tasks as directed by course coordinators; marking hours are confirmed by School Administration staff before marking begins.

Required profile

• Candidates with appropriate qualifications and experience in the dental industry.
• High-achieving postgraduate coursework and research higher degree students are also invited to apply.

• An hourly rate, available through the university's pay scale.
