Case Worker – Crisis Accommodation

About the role

The Case Worker (Crisis Accommodation) joins the multidisciplinary team at CatholicCare NT’s Crerar Road facility. You will provide participant‑centred intake and case management for individuals and families experiencing crisis housing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop personalised case plans.
• Identify crisis presentations and coordinate timely housing support.
• Collaborate with Managed Visitor Accommodation Service, Housing Support Workers and Family Support Workers.
• Facilitate on‑site support activities that promote social cohesion and stability.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Social Work, Community Services or a related field (or substantial progress towards qualification).
• Experience in homelessness, housing or crisis casework.
• Knowledge of issues affecting Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory is highly regarded.
• Strong case‑management, assessment and planning abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively within a diverse, multidisciplinary team.

• Above‑Award Salary Grade 4 – $88,980 per annum plus superannuation.
