Care Director - Aged Care Home, Mount Coolum

About the role

Estia Health is recruiting a Care Director for its aged care home in Mount Coolum. Reporting to the Residential Aged Care Manager, you will act as second in command and draw on your clinical background to improve every aspect of residents' wellbeing. The role is open to people of all ages, cultures, abilities, sexual orientations and gender identities.

Key responsibilities

• Look after residents and nurture the relationship with their families
• Train up the next generation of carers and nurses
• Oversee the clinic, from stock to compliance and reporting
• Develop clinical care programs
• Help financially manage the home

Required profile

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration
• At least 3 years in a nursing management role at ward level or above
• Experience managing people and budgets
• A background in aged care
• Honest and ethical leadership, with a desire to learn and challenge yourself
