Capability Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Capability Analysis Engineer will support the LAND 6504 Air Defence Capability programme, providing specialist advice on launchers, missiles, radar and command‑and‑control systems. The role involves analysing performance data, conducting trade studies and supporting acquisition decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify system, sub‑system and element composition of the LAND 6504 solution.
• Collect and analyse capability performance data, technical information and operational concepts.
• Support capability assessments with Defence, industry and OEM stakeholders.
• Conduct trade studies, option analysis and technical assessments for acquisition decisions.
• Assess operational effectiveness across threat environments and force structures.
• Develop functional performance specifications, operational concept documents and capability architecture products.

Required profile

• Minimum NV1 security clearance (NV2 preferred) and ability to obtain NV2.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably within Defence acquisition projects.
• Willingness to work onsite at Brindabella Business Park five days a week.
