Campus Minister – Catholic College (Augustine Heights)

About the role

The Campus Minister provides vibrant faith, spiritual, and pastoral support to students at St Augustine’s College, fostering a thriving religious life across the whole school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and lead religious festivals and celebrations, highlighting diverse traditions and encouraging student participation.
• Support professional learning and strategic initiatives that develop spiritual and theological practices for staff, students, and community members.
• Collaborate on the Catholic Identity Strategy by developing, promoting, and evaluating formation programs and resources.
• Design, develop, and facilitate prayer, reflection, and worship activities for the school.
• Provide pastoral care, counseling, and guidance to students, promoting wellbeing and personal growth.

Required profile

• Committed Catholic faith and understanding of Augustinian values of Unity, Love, and Truth.
• Experience in pastoral or ministry work within a school or community setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to organise events and lead liturgical celebrations.

Required skills

• Event planning and coordination.

• Facilitation of prayer and worship services.
