CAMM2 Data Controller

About the role

Northrop Grumman Australia is hiring a CAMM2 Data Controller, a new position focused on data transfer, reconciliation and configuration control. The role keeps aircraft flying by making sure maintenance data is correct and that approved maintenance policy is applied properly. It sits alongside IDMR, which captures maintenance activity before it is validated and recorded in CAMM2. The position is based in Brisbane or Canberra and requires NV1 clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage maintenance data in CAMM2 and IDMR
• Ensure all activity aligns with approved maintenance policy
• Validate documentation against ICA (Instructions for Continued Airworthiness) and policy references
• Identify and fix data or configuration issues
• Track serialised parts and fleet configuration
• Manage anomalies, audits and backlog priorities

Required profile

• Australian citizenship is required; international traffic in arms regulations apply, so nationality may affect suitability
• NV1 clearance, current or previously held
• Existing knowledge of CAMM2 and how the ADF uses it; the role suits someone coming from an ADF or Defence aviation background
• Typical profiles: current or former CAMM2 Data Manager, ex-RAAF technician who moved into data or planning, or a maintenance admin or technical records specialist
• Comfortable being accountable for data others rely on, checking and challenging it

Required skills

• Hands-on CAMM2 experience in a maintenance environment
• Understanding of airworthiness and maintenance policy
• Experience working with technical maintenance documentation
• Confidence working across multiple systems and datasets
