Calibration Technician

About the role

Addelec Power Services is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to join its Noble Park workshop. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead the calibration and repair workflow for both laboratory and on‑site projects, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing and inspection of electrical/electronic instruments and insulated safety equipment in the lab and at customer sites.
• Prepare accurate calibration, test and inspection reports and maintain related documentation.
• Assist with on‑site troubleshooting, repairs, installations and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Maintain internal test equipment, workshop resources and stock levels of parts and consumables.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost service quality, efficiency and equipment reliability.
• Uphold a safe, clean and organised work environment in line with health, safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven calibration experience in an electrical or electronic environment.
• Hands‑on experience repairing and replacing electronic components, including soldering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Current full Victorian driver’s licence.
