Café, Cellar Door & Functions Team Member

About the role

Meditrina Beverages is looking for 2 to 3 enthusiastic, reliable and customer-focused team members to join its Café, Cellar Door and Functions team. This is a varied hospitality role with no two days the same: welcoming visitors, running wine tastings, preparing café offerings and helping deliver functions and events. The position is permanent part-time or job-share, with immediate start.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly café service, including coffee preparation and simple food preparation.
• Welcome visitors, run wine tastings and assist with wine sales.
• Deliver food and beverage service for functions and events.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service.
• Assist with stock management, point-of-sale transactions and daily venue operations.
• Work with teammates on smooth shift handovers and consistent service.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and professional manner.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive and able to multitask, working independently and in a small team.
• Interest in wine, food and hospitality.
• NSW Food Handler Basics certificate.
• Weekend availability and flexibility for occasional evening functions.

Required skills

• Current RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certificate desirable.
• Hospitality, café, cellar door, wine sales or events experience is an advantage.
• Professional barista qualifications are not essential.
