Business Services (VET) Teacher

About the role

Meridi College is seeking a qualified Business Services (VET) Teacher to deliver the Business Administration curriculum to Years 11‑12 students. The role involves using inquiry‑based teaching methods, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues, families, and the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Business Administration (VET) lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Utilise approved teaching techniques and resources, including Catalyst curriculum tools.
• Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate student records.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team, other teachers and families to support student wellbeing and achievement.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and maintain required teaching registrations.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching.
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance.
• Registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education policy.
