Business Development Manager – Trade & Construction Equipment

About the role

Join a fast‑growing equipment solutions business supporting the construction and surface preparation industry. The Business Development Manager will grow the customer base across Southeast Queensland and build long‑term partnerships with contractors, trades and industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the territory through proactive prospecting, cold calling and site visits.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify and convert equipment sales opportunities through demos and follow‑up.
• Manage pipeline, quotes and CRM activity to achieve sales targets.
• Work closely with marketing to convert inbound leads and create opportunities.

Required profile

• Experience in B2B sales, ideally within construction, industrial or trade‑focused products.
• Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Enjoys autonomy and is proactive by nature.
• Ability to manage territory, plan visits and follow through on commitments.
• Customer‑first mindset and professional approach.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for pipeline management.
