Business Development Manager

About the role

Eurofins is seeking a Business Development professional to join its Environmental Testing team in Welshpool on a full‑time basis. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process, from prospecting new opportunities to closing contracts, and help grow the company’s presence across target markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within allocated target markets.
• Conduct outbound activities such as cold calls, warm introductions and in‑person meetings.
• Qualify prospects to ensure strong commercial and strategic fit.
• Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through contract execution.
• Maintain an accurately forecasted sales pipeline and keep CRM records up to date.
• Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to shape compelling solutions.
• Represent Eurofins professionally at industry events and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in new business development or sales.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with senior decision‑makers.
• Resilient, self‑motivated and outcomes‑focused.
• Ability to manage own time, territory and priorities.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within WA.

Required skills

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
