Business Development Manager

About the role

Bostik is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence in the construction sector across customers south of Sydney, with occasional travel to Canberra. You will work closely with internal teams to drive growth, develop strategic plans, and represent the company at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the designated territory.
• Execute account strategies based on anticipated business needs.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project deliverables.
• Generate and evaluate new product ideas and suggestions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Represent Bostik at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building client relationships.
• Strategic thinker able to analyze market trends and adapt strategies.
• Excellent organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Proactive, motivated, and capable of working independently or within a team.
