Business Development Manager - Corporate Travel

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performing Business Development Manager to drive new corporate travel business across Australia and New Zealand. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting mid‑market clients to closing contracts, and play a pivotal part in expanding our market share.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target prospective mid‑market corporate clients throughout Australia and New Zealand.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting, networking and outbound sales activity.
• Manage the complete sales process, including discovery meetings, solution design, proposal preparation, RFP/tender handling and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments to inform strategy.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reporting.

Required profile

• Proven success in a business development or hunter‑focused sales role.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong prospecting and cold‑calling abilities.
• Consultative, solution‑based selling approach.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience in corporate travel is mandatory.
