Business Development Executive

About the role

Join PepsiCo's Field Sales team in Queensland as a Business Development Executive. You will drive the expansion of our iconic FMCG portfolio across Away‑From‑Home (AFH) channels, with a primary focus on metropolitan Brisbane, helping to deliver the "Always Everywhere" strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new AFH customers, expanding PepsiCo’s presence in Queensland.
• Spot and develop opportunities in untapped "white‑space" channels.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals, tracking success via scorecard metrics.
• Collaborate with National and State Sales teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Conduct cold‑calls, manage your schedule flexibly, and maintain advanced planning and time‑management practices.

Required profile

• Proven sales background with a track record of signing new customers.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Business Development role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous, and able to thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong objection‑handling ability and rapport‑building skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience using Sales CRM systems.
• Project‑management understanding of distribution models (field sales, distributor sales, replenishment).
