Business Controller

About the role

The Business Controller will support the financial performance of the Direct Sales and Remarketing business area, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis and planning. You will work closely with global finance teams and executive leadership to drive financial discipline and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Provide business analysis, performance follow‑up and prepare management reports for the assigned Business Area (BA).
• Manage the estimate cycle, ensuring consistency, accuracy and alignment with strategy.
• Coordinate month‑end close, estimate handover and produce deviation analysis and early‑warning reports.
• Lead gross profit analysis, price‑management follow‑up and balance‑sheet reviews.
• Conduct risk assessments for the BA/BU risk portfolio and maintain incentive‑scheme calculations.
• Ensure governance, internal‑control compliance and adherence to group financial policies.
• Advise executive leadership on financial performance and support ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Qualified CPA/CA or currently studying towards the qualification.
• Degree in Business or Accounting.
• Experience in management accounting within a commercial/retail environment.
• Strong analytical ability and ability to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
