Business Analyst - Risk

About the role

As a Business Analyst within the Risk Strategic Shared Platform at ANZ, you will help automate end‑to‑end data, reporting and analytics processes and simplify business workflows using automation and AI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to capture and prioritise requirements and partner with engineering teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to capture and document product requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear features, user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Support testing of solutions once development is complete.
• Drive product adoption through training, user‑journey mapping and change‑management documentation.
• Develop and maintain product and process documentation to support ongoing change.

Required profile

• Strong business analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
• Creative, innovative approach to solution design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and manage change.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver optimal outcomes.
• Experience leading user workshops, gathering requirements and collaborating with technology teams.
• Capability to analyse data and convey insights through narratives and visual means.
