Bus Driver for Renewable Energy Project

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to support its Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project in New South Wales. You will provide safe, reliable transport for project personnel between Sydney, the airport and various site locations in the Mudgee region on a 14‑day on / 7‑day off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Transport project staff safely to and from airports and on‑site locations.
• Perform scheduled and ad‑hoc local pickups and drop‑offs as required.
• Conduct pre‑start vehicle checks, keep the bus clean and road‑worthy.
• Maintain compliance with road transport and fatigue‑management regulations.
• Record accurate trip logs and passenger manifests.
• Assist with general site transport and logistics needs.

Required profile

• Valid HR or MR driver’s licence (minimum).
• Proven experience as a bus driver or heavy‑vehicle operator.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Clean driving record (preferred).
• Willingness to work a remote roster (14 days on / 7 days off).
• Ability to undergo pre‑employment medical and police checks.

Required skills

• Bus driving proficiency.
• Heavy‑vehicle operation experience.
• Understanding of fatigue‑management requirements.
