Branch Manager - Height Safety Systems

About the role

Buildsafe provides height safety systems and solutions to residential builders across Australia. This Branch Manager role reports to the Regional Operations Manager and oversees branch operations, leads the team and ensures products and services are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently. It is an operational leadership role based at the Lewiston branch, with early starts from about 5:30 am.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workforce requirements and coordinate operational activities
• Maintain strong customer relationships and drive branch performance
• Handle recruitment and development of staff
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
• Manage stock and equipment

Required profile

• Demonstrated operational leadership experience, ideally in construction, logistics, transport, manufacturing, trades or a similar service environment
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate operational or field-based teams
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with sound commercial awareness of costs, productivity, budgets and targets
• Hands-on leadership style and strong communication skills
• Experience with operational systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office
