Branch Manager - Campbellfield

About the role

Komatsu Australia is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Campbellfield operation. This is a significant leadership role with 5 direct reports and about 50 indirect reports, covering the overall operational performance of the branch. The role spans people, customers, safety, service, parts, PDI, financial performance and day-to-day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the branch leadership team and establish clear expectations and accountability across the branch.
• Hold functional leaders accountable for safety, customer service, productivity, WIP, invoicing, warranty, inventory and operational performance.
• Own the branch financial result, including revenue, margin, operating profit, expenditure and forecast accuracy.
• Use KPIs and business data to identify performance gaps and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Drive workforce planning, technician productivity, utilisation and capacity to meet customer demand.
• Provide leadership and governance across Service, Parts and New Equipment/PDI operations.
• Build leadership capability and succession through coaching, performance management and development planning.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and resolve issues at the right level.
• Identify profitable growth opportunities and maintain governance across safety, quality, compliance and company processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Experience or strong knowledge of the earthmoving, mining or construction equipment industries.
• Commercial capability: understanding of operational and financial performance and ability to turn analysis into action.
• Strong customer relationship skills.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication at all levels.

Required skills

• SAP and Dynamics AX experience is beneficial.
