Branch Accounting Manager – Adelaide

About the role

This senior accounting position sits at the heart of a multinational organisation’s Adelaide branch, reporting directly to the Branch General Manager. You will partner with operational leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong working‑capital management and compliance across all finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the monthly close cycle, delivering timely P&L and balance‑sheet reports with meaningful commentary.
• Manage working capital by overseeing collections, resolving debtor disputes and meeting cash‑target objectives.
• Maintain balance‑sheet integrity through rigorous reconciliations, tax compliance and asset management.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities, providing analytical rigour and commercial context.
• Champion continuous‑improvement, internal controls and audit readiness across the finance function.

Required profile

• CPA or CA qualification (essential).
• 5+ years in a senior accounting or finance management role.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop a small finance team.
• Strong end‑to‑end experience across AR, AP and full month‑end processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
