BMS Technician – Building Automation (Perth, WA)

About the role

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is seeking experienced BMS Technicians to join its Western Australia Buildings team. This hands‑on, field‑based role covers Perth and surrounding areas, supporting commercial, health, education and infrastructure customers. You will work directly with clients, commissioning and maintaining building automation and HVAC control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Commission, perform preventative maintenance and provide reactive service for building automation and HVAC control systems.
• Fault find and rectify issues in control panels, field devices, networks and software.
• Use diagnostic tools and remote service platforms to identify and resolve problems.
• Evaluate customer systems and deliver technical recommendations.
• Support site safety activities, including OH&S compliance and risk assessments.
• Assist with minor works, upgrades and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical input for quotes, planning and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports and customer documentation.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation in HVAC fundamentals and building services systems.
• Experience in a service or maintenance environment with solid fault‑finding and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.

• PLC or building controls software exposure
