Blue Collar Recruiter – Engineering Services

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking an experienced Blue Collar Recruiter to join its Ascot head office. You will work within a small, collaborative recruitment team, supporting a range of mining and mineral processing projects across Australia. The role offers strong professional development opportunities in a fast‑growing engineering consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for blue‑collar roles such as fitters, electricians, riggers and other construction trades.
• Partner with project and construction managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies.
• Deliver a high level of service to internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Collaborate with the mobilisation team to ensure seamless onboarding and placement.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline to support ongoing and future project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an internal recruiter, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
• Demonstrated success recruiting blue‑collar personnel (fitters, electricians, riggers, etc.).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and solid computer literacy.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and quick learner of new systems.
