Bid Development Coordinator

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Bid Development Coordinator for the Pacific region to lead the coordination and delivery of strategic, complex, and high‑value tender submissions. The role focuses on governance, compliance, and timely delivery of bids across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex tender and bid submissions across the Pacific region.
• Develop bid plans, timelines, action trackers and responsibility matrices.
• Manage tender compliance requirements, returnable schedules and submission governance.
• Facilitate bid kick‑off meetings, progress reviews and executive approval reviews.
• Coordinate contributions from cross‑functional SMEs and ensure submissions are compliant, professionally presented and delivered on time.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in bid coordination, tender management, proposal management or commercial administration.
• Experience in built environment, engineering, construction, infrastructure or related industries.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
• Proactive, accountable and detail‑oriented with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Required skills

• Advanced capability in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint and document management systems.
• Experience with CRM, bid management or proposal automation tools.
