Bar Attendant – Events

About the role

The Pullman Cairns International hotel is seeking an enthusiastic Bar Attendant to support its banquets and events team. You will deliver friendly beverage service for conferences, weddings, and special functions in a dynamic 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient bar service across a variety of events, preparing cocktails, wines, spirits and beers.
• Set up and pack down event bars, maintaining high presentation standards.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized and well‑stocked throughout service.
• Collaborate with Events and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Required profile

• Positive attitude, reliable and team‑focused.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of beverage preparation and service.
• Good communication skills.
