Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Shellharbour)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ's Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless banking experience to customers in the Shellharbour branch. You will address end‑to‑end financial needs, conduct needs‑based conversations, and educate clients on both traditional and digital financial solutions while acting as a role model and peer coach for your team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, completing transactions and recommending products according to your accreditation level.
• Drive customer engagement and advocacy by delivering real value and personalized advice.
• Participate actively in bank programmes and initiatives that enhance the branch’s performance.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of each customer’s risk profile and ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies.
• Support colleagues through coaching and knowledge sharing to uphold the branch’s service standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
• Comfortable using digital channels and technology to serve customers.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
